Shipping policy

 

WHERE WE SHIP

We ship worldwide from our own factory. There is no country we will not quote
for. If your destination is not selectable at checkout, email
support@laparoscop.us and we will add it.

SHIPPING COST

Orders over $500 ship free, fully insured, door to door, anywhere in the world.
Every trainer box and simulator we sell is over $500, so every simulator ships
free.

Orders under $500 are charged shipping at checkout, calculated from your
destination and the weight of what you are ordering. You will see the exact
amount before you pay. There is no handling fee, no packaging fee and nothing
added after checkout.

If you are adding accessories or spare modules to a simulator order, they ship
in the same carton at no extra cost. Ordering them together is always cheaper
than ordering them separately.

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY TIME

We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days of your order.

Delivery is 5 to 7 working days after dispatch for most destinations.

Customs can add time on top of that and it is outside our control, so we quote
the courier's transit time honestly rather than promising a delivery date we
cannot guarantee. If your shipment is held, we will chase it with the courier
on your behalf.

Express shipping is available on request. Email support@laparoscop.us before
ordering and we will quote it.

TRACKING

You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched. If
it has not arrived within 3 working days of your order, email us and we will
send it manually.

INSURANCE

Every order ships insured, including orders that paid for shipping. If your
order arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and the contents before
unpacking any further and email support@laparoscop.us within 7 days. We will
replace it. You do not pay for the replacement or its shipping.

IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES

Our shipments are sent DDU, which means duties and import taxes are not
prepaid and are collected by your local customs or courier on arrival. They are
not included in the price and they are not something we can waive.

One thing worth knowing, because most stores do not tell you: import duty is
assessed on the declared manufacturing value of the goods, not on what you paid
us. For most destinations that makes the amount considerably smaller than
people expect. It is still a real cost and we would rather you knew about it
before you ordered than discovered it at your door.

If you need a specific declared value or a commercial invoice for an
institutional purchase order, email support@laparoscop.us and we will prepare
the paperwork.

INSTITUTIONS, PROGRAMMES AND BULK ORDERS

We supply residency programmes, simulation labs and universities directly and
can quote in volume, arrange consolidated shipping and work with a purchase
order. Email support@laparoscop.us with PROGRAM in the subject line.

RETURNS

See our Refund Policy. In short: 30 days, unused and in original packaging,
with an additional 14 day cooling off period for customers in the EU.
